  1. SPECIAL DAY SUNDAE

  3. STEP 1
  4. First, make the choo-choo chocolate sauce. Combine the marshmallows and the milk in small saucepan.  Cook and stir the mixture over a medium heat until the marshmallows are melted. Add chocolate pieces to the mixture.  Continue heating and stirring with a wire whisk till chocolate is melted.  Then remove from the heat and cool slightly.

  6. Next, pour the mixture into a serving dish. Cover and chill.  Before serving bring to room temperature.  Makes 2 cups.

  9. Or if you would prefer, you can make a tootie fruity sauce. In a medium saucepan mix the orange peel, orange juice, cornstarch, and cinnamon.  Then stir in the thawed strawberries. Cook and stir over medium heat till the mixture thickens for 2 minutes more.  Remove from the heat and  cool to room temperature.

  11. If you have any leftovers, put them in a covered container and chill.  Makes 1 1/3 cups.

  14. Here's how to make your sundae: first, use a spoon to put some choo-choo chocolate sauce or tootie fruity sauce in the bottom of the dish. Then use the ice cream scoop to place ice cream on the sundae.

  17. Use another small spoon to place some fresh fruit on top of the ice cream.

  20. Then with the first spoon, top your fruit with more choo-choo chocolate sauce or tootie fruity sauce.

  23. Finally,  finish off your sundae with granola and chocolate pieces. Now it's time to enjoy your special day sundae!
